Conceptual Development: Tailoring

Studying in the Masters program gave me space to develop conceptual work within an academic setting. I used that precious time to question the role of the tailor and the instinct to chase visually “perfect” lines. What happens when those curves are pushed into unfamiliar or less conventionally pleasing shapes? And can a garment still be expertly tailored when the rules are intentionally bent?
