Fashion has always been, for me, a dream to escape into.

Over 15 years I've followed that dream into some unexpected places. From the ateliers of Iris van Herpen in Amsterdam, where I stitched archival couture by hand, to the fitting rooms of Toronto, where I've spent years helping women build confidence through clothing. Or the pattern drafting studios at OCAD University, where I teach the next generation of designers how to bring their designs to fruition.

My work sits at the intersection of making, teaching, and meaning. I'm drawn to the idea that a well-constructed garment is never just functional. It's a record of skill, a reflection of identity, and sustainability by the hands of the maker.

I write about the future of fashion and craft on Substack under Sartorial Futurist. Where I continue to research, make, teach, and ask questions about what fashion is for.

If you're building something at the intersection of design, education, and sustainability, I'd love to connect
