FW25 Mini Collection Proposal: Spier & Mackay

A proposal collection developed as extension of the brand ethos. I chose to lean into historically British tailoring. Featuring warm, rich colours traditional to menswear but strategic pops of colour bring fresh styling.

Process

Research

Research began with a close study of the brand's existing offerings, competitive positioning, and customer point of view.

Colour Theory

From there, I mapped current colour trends across both menswear and womenswear to identify a palette that felt authentic to the Spier & Mackay customer while introducing something fresher. Warm, rich tones traditional to British tailoring anchor the collection, with strategic colour pops that modernize without disrupting.

Collection Development

Finally, a garment range was proposed keeping with the traditional menswear staples: trench coat, chore coat, balmacaan.

The result is a cohesive mini collection that honours the craft of classic menswear while leaving room for personality.
